Spring Investment Forum

Post by Mearns & Company in News

On Monday 24th May, we were delighted to host our online Spring Investment Forum.

The forum considered the global economic and investment outlook following the Covid-19 pandemic. Our guest speaker, Neil Robson from Columbia Threadneedle Investments, shared valuable insights about how the pandemic affected global markets and what the future may look like for investors.

There was also discussion around the trends that are likely to shape the world and investments over the next few decades, such as digitisation and de-carbonisation, and how these trends can be factored in when choosing companies to invest in.

Another topic that is currently on the minds of investors and features in the news is the risk of rising future inflation. The attendees of the Forum posed thought provoking questions about this risk and its implications during the Q&A session afterwards.

Our guests took away some valuable insights and we have been pleased to receive great feedback following the webinar.

We would like to thank all of our guests for attending and Neil Robson for providing us with such an interesting session.

We always welcome suggestions for future forums from our clients. Please get in touch with us if you do have a topic that you would like to hear more about.
