Clodagh is a Chartered Financial Planner at Mearns & Company with a strong academic background and a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals. She also holds the Chartered Insurance Institute’s CF6 (Mortgage Advice) and R07 (Advanced Mortgage Advice) qualifications, further strengthening her technical expertise across financial and mortgage planning.

Clodagh’s journey to Mearns & Company (in her own words):
“I’m originally from Aberdeen, where I graduated with a law degree. After university, I moved to Edinburgh having decided to pursue a career in finance, with a particular interest in financial planning. I began my career at a financial planning firm in Edinburgh as a trainee wealth manager.

I then joined Mearns & Company as a Paraplanner, ensuring I built strong technical knowledge before moving into an advisory role. This foundation allows me to provide well-rounded, confident advice to clients.”

What drives Clodagh:
Clodagh enjoys meeting both new and existing clients and taking the time to understand their individual circumstances. She is motivated by helping clients put clear, achievable plans in place to meet their financial goals and feel confident about their future.

When she’s not in the office, Clodagh enjoys taking her dog, Paddy, out for walks, as well as going to the gym and swimming.
