Malcolm Steel

Malcolm is responsible for shaping the long-term client advice strategy for Mearns & Company.

Malcolm is a qualified Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. He is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP); having served on the Scottish Branch Committee as Treasurer. Malcolm attained the STEP Diploma with distinction and has an intimate knowledge of Wills & Executry matters.

As well as advising private clients, Malcolm also works with our employer clients, taking a strategic lead on our employee benefits provision. Malcolm is a member of the International Employee Benefits Association and helped to design our Lightbox Flex technology.

Away from work, Malcolm spends time with his loves; Helen, his wife, Hannah and Cameron, his children, and Hibernian Football Club, his nemesis. He is also happy when he has a guitar in his hands, or a craft beer.
